Uriah Hall vs. Krzysztof Jotko Pulled from UFC Berlin Over Visa Issues

Fresh Off Stunning KO, Uriah Hall Steps in for Michael Bisping at UFC 193

Not so fast.

The UFC on Tuesday announced that Uriah Hall would step in as a late replacement for the injured Derek Brunson at next week’s UFC Fight Night 69 in Berlin. On Friday, the promotion revealed that it had to scrap those plans.

“Due to complications with Hall’s via, the middleweight bout between Uriah Hall and Derek Brunson is off UFC Berlin,” UFC officials stated via Twitter.

Brunson had originally been slated to meet Polish fighter Krzysztof Jotko on June 20 at O2 World Berlin. Brunson, however, suffered a rib injury during training that forced him off the card.

With the bout being scrapped, UFC Berlin will continue with 11 fights.

The card is headlined by UFC women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk, who puts her belt on the line for the first time when she defends against Jessica Penne.
