Arsenal are in the thick of their summer transfer business, with Mikel Arteta eager to bolster his squad.

The Gunners narrowly missed out on the Premier League title last season and will be aiming to close the gap on Manchester City this campaign. Several high-profile players have been linked with a move to the Emirates, including top strikers like Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres.

However, these potential signings could come with a hefty price tag, which might see Arsenal sell some players to raise funds. With that said, has taken a close look at the transfer rumours from the Emirates Stadium.

Joan Garcia deal 'to be announced soon'

Arsenal are reportedly on the verge of securing their first signing of the summer, Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia. According to Spanish media, the shot-stopper is set to become a Gunner 'soon'.

Fresh from helping Espanyol secure promotion back to La Liga, Garcia was also on Real Madrid's radar, but it seems Arsenal have won the race for his signature.

The 23 year old's arrival could pose a selection headache for Arteta. The Gunners are expected to finalise a £27m deal for loanee David Raya, while Aaron Ramsdale is still at the club.

Conte confirms Osimhen agreement

Once the Garcia deal is wrapped up, Arsenal may shift their focus to strengthening their attack. Napoli star Osimhen is one player who could be brought in, and new manager Antonio Conte has confirmed that an agreement is in place for him to leave the Italian club.

At his unveiling, the Italian said: "As far as Osimhen is concerned, just as I knew very well about the situation of Kvara, Di Lorenzo, Anguissa, Lobotka, on which I have placed an absolute veto.

"Having said that, I know what the situation is regarding Osimhen. I know that there are agreements, that it is a situation different from all the others. I can only assist. He is a player of the highest level, exceptional, but I cannot enter into any discussion because it is part of previous agreements which have been clearly stated to me."

Sambi Lokonga talks

Meanwhile, Belgian midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga looks to be heading out of the Emirates once again, having spent time out on loan at Crystal Palace and Luton last season.

Spanish side Sevilla are thought to be interested in signing Lokonga and, according to Diario de Sevilla, have been keen on the midfielder for a while.

Sevilla are working with a limited budget, making Lokonga a viable option, and it is understood that talks between Arsenal and the La Liga outfit are progressing well, with a deal potentially being agreed before the start of pre-season.
