Vuelta a Espana 2017 – stage 10 results and latest standings after Matteo Trentin claims victory and Chris Froome retains his overall lead

Matteo Trentin claimed his second victory of the Vuelta a España on Wednesday, pipping Jose Joaquin Rojas in a sprint after the two had forged clear on the descent of the Collado Bermejo to win stage 10.

Chris Froome retained his overall lead, finishing alongside most of his rivals. However, Nicolas Roche clawed back almost half a minute to draw level with Esteban Chaves in second overall.
