WARRINGTON Wolves’ England quartet all look set to be involved in Saturday’s mid-season Test against France.

George Williams, Ben Currie, Matty Nicholson and James Harrison are all included in a narrowed-down 19-man squad that will travel to Toulouse on Friday ahead of the game at the Stade Ernest Wallon.

Williams will skipper the side from half-back, where he will be partnered by Wigan Warriors’ Harry Smith, while Currie and Nicholson both look set to play in the second row.

Harrison is likely to come off the bench in the side named by head coach Shaun Wane, who will not travel to France as a result of complications from surgery he had earlier this week.

Assistant coach Andy Last will take charge of the team for the game, and he insists it has been “business as usual.”

“We’ve had a bit of a different build-up to this week’s Test match with Shaun having to leave camp, but the players have really stepped up and it really has been business as usual,” he said.

“This is an exciting squad and it’s always great to be able to reward players with their first international caps. All very deserving of wearing the England shirt.

“It’s a big occasion for the French with it being their 90thanniversary and we are under no illusions they will come out strong in Toulouse on Saturday.

“We have a lot of young players who are all very talented and they’ll be looking to impress and stake a claim to face Samoa at the end of the season.”
