Washington Football Team tight end Logan Thomas didn't tear his ACL against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, according to head coach Ron Rivera.

That was the initial fear, per ESPN's Adam Schefter, but after undergoing an MRI on Monday, tests didn't confirm it. Further evaluation was still forthcoming Monday.

Thomas went down early in the fourth quarter of Washington's 17-15 win over the Las Vegas Raiders while blocking on an Antonio Gibson run. Thomas, after shifting left down the line, was hit awkwardly on his knee and went down.

He walked off the field on his own power, but did not return.

Thomas finished the day with 48 receiving yards on three catches, and had one touchdown in the first quarter. Thomas has recorded 196 receiving yards and three touchdowns this season, his second with the team. The 30-year-old signed a three-year, $24 million extension before the season started.

Though Thomas went down, Washington beat the Raiders on a go-ahead 48-yard field goal with just 42 seconds left to claim its fourth straight win.
