England's preparations for the European Championships are in full swing, with just over a week left before they kick off their campaign.

Gareth Southgate's men will take on Iceland at Wembley in their final friendly match, although injuries mean Luke Shaw and Lewis Dunk won't be featuring. The Three Lions are coming off a 3-0 victory against Bosnia at St James' Park on Monday.

Goals from Cole Palmer, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Harry Kane secured the win. The Three Lions are in action for the final time until the European Championships begin as England fans look to give the players a fitting send off.

England vs Iceland team news

In terms of team news, Southgate has trimmed his squad from 33 provisional names down to the final 26. It was announced on Thursday that James Maddison, Jack Grealish, Jarrad Brantwaite, James Trafford, Harry Maguire and Jarell Quansah have all been dropped.

Shaw is sidelined for the upcoming match against Iceland, while Dunk is on track to return to full training next week. Contrary to earlier doubts, Anthony Gordon and Bukayo Saka might feature in the game.

Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden, Kyle Walker, and Kobbie Mainoo have rejoined the squad following their FA Cup and Champions League final duties.

Gareth Southgate, looking forward to the team's final warm-up before the Euros, confirmed: "Everybody else is available. Harry [Kane] could play 90 minutes, though not sure he will."
