Watch The Rock and Aaron Donald Do Dumbbell Rows

Dwayne Johnson has just shared another brief look at the epic gym session he and NFL player Aaron Donald completed during his recent visit to the L.A. Rams training facility. Filmed ahead of the beginning of the new football season, one of the biggest (literally) movie stars on the planet teamed up with the All-Pro and Super Bowl champion in early September for a day of pumping iron and sharing stories.

"We’re always hungry. Never full," Johnson wrote in the caption, referring to the work ethic that he admires about Donald, something which they both bonded over, having previously spoken about how they were both raised by dads who encouraged them in their athletic pursuits. "We're cut from the same intense cloth with our passion for training, family and LEGACY... there is no substitute for hard work, through discipline and tough fatherly love."

Previously, we got a look at The Rock absolutely torching his core in a set of nicely synchonised ab wheel rollouts with Donald. In this latest clip, the pair are targeting their backs and biceps with split stance dumbbell rows, again performed in unison.

They're using 100-pound dumbbells, and executing sets of 20 reps at a time before switching sides until they've done 40 reps on either arm, performing each of these giant sets a total of 3 times.

"For the record, these were the opening supersets that brotha AD wanted to START our workout with," Johnson added. "And I thought I was f’n crazy..."
