West Ham know they cannot afford another slip-up as they look to secure European football for next season.

Three defeats in their last five games has seen the Hammers’ Champions League qualification hopes end, and also allow rivals Tottenham leapfrog them in the race for the final Europa League spot.

Despite the disappointment of missing out on a Premier League top-four finish, European qualification would still represent a massive step forward for David Moyes’ Hammers, who were in a relegation battle around this time last year.

While West Ham will be looking to end the season on a high, they must be wary of a West Brom side who, despite already being relegated, have shown signs of fight and pushed Liverpool all the way at the weekend.

The Baggies are playing for pride, but Sam Allardyce will also be looking forward to facing his former club.
