West Ham XI vs Manchester United: Starting lineup, confirmed team news and injury latest for Premier League today

West Ham head into this crucial Premier League clash with Manchester United today on the back of a remarkable debut in European group stage football, sweeping Dinamo Zagreb 2-0 in Croatia. Manchester United on the other hand suffered a shock 2-1 defeat to Young Boys in Switzerland.

The Hammers have been forced into a forward reshuffle as they bid to cover for the suspended Michail Antonio. The club’s all-time leading Premier League scorer was sent off against Southampton last weekend and David Moyes does not possess another specialist, senior centre forward in his squad.

Jarrod Bowen is therefore deployed as the forward-most attacker, with Nikola Vlasic brought in for his Premier League start after a promising performance in his native Croatia.

He will combine with Pablo Fornals and Said Benrahma in a creative attacking midfield trio.

Moyes has opted not to change his defensive set-up, sticking with a back-four Kurt Zouma takes the place of Craig Dawson after a commanding debut as his new side got their Europa League campaign off to a perfect start in Zagreb.
