West Ham's Michail Antonio set to withdraw from England squad with hamstring injury

West Ham winger Michail Antonio looks set to be withdrawn from the England squad.

The 26-year-old played the full 90 minutes of the Hammers' 3-2 defeat by Leicester, but manager Slaven Bilic revealed afterwards he had suffered a hamstring injury.

Bilic said: "He's probably going to be withdrawn from the England squad with a hamstring problem.

"He felt something. He played the whole game but the medical team have told me now. He didn't limp off, though, so we will see tomorrow."

The news will come as a blow to Antonio, who was hoping to make his international debut in the matches against Lithuania and Germany.

It also further weakens the attacking options of Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate, who is already without Harry Kane, Daniel Sturridge, Danny Welbeck and Wayne Rooney.

Southgate, who left Theo Walcott out of his squad, may now have to consider bringing in reinforcements.
