Why NHL might be right about skipping 2018 Olympics (Video)


The NHL, NHLPA, IOC and IIHF met in New York on Friday to discuss the 2018 Winter Olympics.

Was there a decision made? Of course not. Did they negotiate? Eh, not really.

The NHL has been steadfast in saying its owners don’t really want to shut down the season for the Olympics in South Korea. And while we obviously all want to see the best hockey tournament in the Olympics, we also have to admit that the owners make some pretty good points.

In this week’s edition of The Wysh List, Greg Wyshynski of Puck Daddy offers five reasons why the NHL might not be completely wrong in wanting to skip the 2018 Olympics.
