Dillian Whyte knows he’s playing with fire as he takes on Russian Alexander Povetkin tonight at Matchroom’s Fight Camp 4.

The British heavyweight is on the brink of a shot at the world title against the winner of the third fight between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder.

Whyte knows defeat here and all his good work and patience is wasted.

Povetkin, too, is probably on his last chance at 40 years old, meaning defeat here for him will almost certainly put him to the back of the queue and several years away from a shot at either the WBC champion or a rematch with Anthony Joshua, who holds the WBO, WBA and IBF titles.

The fight is on 22 August at the Matchroom Fight Camp in Brentwood, Essex.
