It was another late-night finish at Wimbledon on Wednesday as Andy Murray was pushed to five sets in his second-round meeting with Oscar Otte. Play resumes on Thursday from 11am with the below among the pick of the late matches to watch out for:

Gianluca Mager v Nick Kyrgios

Nick Kyrgios remains a massive draw for tennis and it was great to see him back playing in the first round against Ugo Humbert for the first time since the Australian Open. Kyrgios quipped “not bad for a part-time player” in the wake of an impressive five-set win. However tight today’s contest, the Australian should continue to entertain.

Roger Federer v Richard Gasquet

Two of the more attractive styles of play are pitted against each other in the third match on Centre Court. To be fair, both men are past their very best and step on court with a combined age of 74 and yet still with the threat they can recapture their past glories. Richard Gasquet will eye a chance after Roger Federer struggled in his opener.

Emma Raducanu v Marketa Vondrousova

Kent teenager Emma Raducanu is already being spoken up as a star for the future not just in Britain but on the global stage. She showed impressive maturity to fight back to win her first ever Grand Slam singles match yesterday and plays today against a former top-20 player who is still 300 places above her in the world rankings.
