Worcester City: pre-season fixtures in full

WORCESTER City kick-off their pre-season on Saturday (July 6) in preparation for their debut season in the Northern Premier League One Midlands, step 4 of the non-league pyramid.

City will play eight fixtures against opposition from across the Midlands and beyond over four weeks before the season begins in August.

New Dales Vale (A) - Saturday, July 6

The first match of the season will take the side on a short trip to Blackpole, Worcester. New Dales Vale FC compete in the Herefordshire Premier Division (step 7).

Hereford Pegasus (A) - Tuesday, July 9

With a £1 million 3G pitch to help keep matches on, even during the harshest weather, Hereford Pegasus FC are one of the best-equipped clubs in the Hellenic League Premier (step 5).

Pershore Town (A) - Saturday, July 13

Like Hereford Pegasus, Pershore Town FC compete in the Hellenic League Premier (step 5). Last season, City beat Pershore home and away on their journey to lifting the title.

Halesowen Town (H) - Tuesday, July 16

The first match to be played at Claines Road this season will be against strong opposition in Halesowen Town. Competing in the Southern League Premier Central (step 3), Halesowen are the highest-ranked side competing in England's non-league structure that City will face.

Worcester Raiders (H) – Saturday, July 20

After two exciting derbies last season which ended in, the Worcester sides will face off again in this matchup. Raiders are the last side that City will play from the Hellenic League Premier (step 5).

Bishops Cleeve (H) - Tuesday, July 23

Southern League Division One South side Bishops Cleeve (step 4) are the last to visit Claines Road in pre-season. The Gloucestershire-based team will make the short 27-mile trip to face City for a 7.45pm kick-off.

Briton Ferry Llansawel (A) - Saturday, July 27

City will visit Wales for a match against the Cymru Premier League side. Briton Ferry Llansawel FC won the Welsh second tier in 23/24.

Dudley Town (A) - Tuesday, July 30

The Midlands Football Premier League (step 5) team will host city for their last friendly with the season starting 11 days later.
