Xin and Voltaire has just launched a brand new collection of cocktail sorbets and the flavours sound perfect for the party season.

The brand was born with a passion to create cocktails with a new sensorial experience by mixing the very best of mixology with culinary innovation.

They’ve collaborated with a Parisian chef pâtissier to develop four fruity sorbets so you can have your cocktail and eat it too.

The innovative flavours include:

Alphonse, which is made with dark rum, coconut liqueur, mango and passionfruit and has a lovely tart and tropical note with a creamy coconut finish.

Florian, which is a Champagne based sorbet, sweetened with elderflower liqueur, white peach and vanilla. It has a refreshing quality with a lovely, heady floral taste.

Aurelie uses whisky as its main flavour profile, plus the addition of amaretto and pear, giving it a rich and caramel taste with an uplifting fresh pear note. It is nutty and indulgent.

Finally, the fourth sorbet in the line up is called Giselle and mixes Mezcal, Champagne, raspberry, and lime for a fresh and zingy taste. Plus, the Champagne adds a lovely gentle fizz to the mouthfeel.

They are all delicious on their own, but we can’t wait to make a Sgroppino cocktail with the Florian sorbet and add a scoop into a coupe of Champagne for a sophisticated festive drink.

The sorbets have an average ABV of 8.3% (which is higher than any other alcoholic ice creams on the market) and are available to purchase on the Xin and Voltaire website for £10.95 per 125ml tub. There iss also a gift box option where you can purchase all four flavours for £39.95.
