The throughbred Scouse netted for three top flight teams: Liverpool (128), Leeds (14) and Manchester City (20).

Thierry Henry – 175 goals

No foreign player has scored more goals in the Premier League than France striker Henry – and he got them all for Arsenal.

Frank Lampard – 177 goals

Lampard holds the goalscoring record for a midfielder having ‘shared’ his goals between three clubs: West Ham (24), Chelsea (147) and Manchester City (6).

Ex-Manchester United skipper Wayne Rooney is not finished yet and is now in the 200 club. United’s all-time scorer, Rooney reached 200 with a goal for Everton – against Manchester City. His Premier League goal split so far is 184 for United and 24 for Everton.

Alan Shearer – 260 goals

Toon legend Shearer is the only player to net 100 Premier League for two different clubs, Blackburn (112) and Newcastle (148).
