Nosy Black Bear Accidentally Rings Doorbell Camera

A nosy black bear in Yucaipa, California, was seen sniffing and slobbering on a doorbell security camera before accidentally ringing it on October 25.

Scott Daniels, whose Ring camera recorded this video, told Storyful that he was already in bed when he received a motion alert that someone was at his front door.

“I turned on the live feed and just then the bear was giving us his best nose shot,” Daniels said.

In the footage, the bear appears to be bewildered by the bell’s ring, before darting off at the sound of Daniels’ dogs barking.
