Scientists discover the tallest tree in Amazon rainforest

Scientists have discovered the tallest tree in the Amazon rainforest which measures a stunning 88.5 metres (290 feet).

The giant Dinizia excelsa tree - native to Brazil and prized for its hardwood - is almost 30 metres higher than the previous record holder.
