Chelsea plan to dangle Morata as bait to lure Pulisic

Chelsea plan to use record signing Alvaro Morata as bait to lure Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund.

The Blues, according to reports, are willing to cut their losses on the Spanish striker after a difficult first year in the Premier League.

American winger Pulisic is regarded as one of the top teenage talents in world football.

The 19-year-old is already said to be worth around £60m – and Dortmund could be tempted to cash in with Chelsea expressing an interest.

The Daily Mail are reporting that Chelsea have set the sights on the USA man after a great season in Germany.

Dortmund are on the lookout for a striker striker since selling Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Arsenal in January.

Morata is the player they want – and not one of Chelsea’s other striker.

Michy Batshuayi had spent the second half of the season on loan there but the club’s new coach wants a different type of forward for the new campaign.
