The Oval test has been a revelation and the match couldn’t be poised much better than at the moment as both the teams still have a fair chance of winning the tests. Day 3 completely belonged to India as the pitch started easing up a little bit and the movement started to diminish from the English bowlers. It does look like the batsmen will have more of a say in the remainder of the test.

Coming back to weather conditions, it is expected to be a bright sunny day with hardly any chances of rain on the fourth day. The cloud cover is set to remain like the first three days which might still offer a little bit for the English seamers especially with the new ball.

The precipitation percentage is just 2 percent while the humidity is 88 percent for the day. The temperature is set to go up to 24 degrees while the lowest could be 14 degrees for the day.

Rohit Sharma Gets To His First Overseas Hundred

The Indian opener Rohit Sharma has already done a lot of wonders for the nation in the white-ball format but he always wanted to succeed as a red ball player as well. He has been phenomenal since getting his opportunity at the top of the order in tests for India and he has adapted to the conditions really well playing the ball very close to him and also leaving a lot of deliveries.

He alongside, Pujara played outstandingly in India’s second innings and Rohit was unfortunate to not have converted his 127 into a really big one. However, his knock has put India in a substantial place and he has proved to be a big asset for India as a test opener as well. Rohit hit 14 boundaries and he brought up his century in style with a massive six in the bowling off Moeen Ali.

India March Ahead On Third Day

India had an excellent day as they managed to see out the first session by losing just one wicket of KL Rahul while Rohit and Pujara formed a 153 run partnership for the second day. India ended the day on high with a 171 run lead and with two full days to go, all three results are possible still.
