Chelsea fans’ worst fears may have just been realised after it was claimed Eden Hazard want out.

The Belgian has, according to reports, told the club he wants to play for Real Madrid next season.

The back-to-back European Cup winners have been tracking Hazard for some time and an offer is finally expected this summer.

Well respected Diario Gol say Hazard’s representatives have asked Stamford Bridge hierarchy to not stand in his way.

His decision has been motivated in part by the near certain lack of Champions League football next season, the second time in three years the Blues won’t be in Europe’s premier cup competition.

Hazard has yet to sign a new contract with the Premier League club despite Chelsea’s best attempts.

Because of that, it has also been claimed that the London side will accept an offer of €100million should it be put forward.

A £300,000-per-week deal is on the table for him to remain in the capital – but with even more managerial upheaval expected, the star is nearing an exit.

At the moment there is no talk of a swap deal for Gareth Bale, who would surely be on his way out of Madrid if an agreement was to be reached for Hazard to move to Spain.

The Blues play West Ham this weekend and can’t afford to drop points as they battle against the odds to earn a top four place.
