Joe Root has said that the Indian team has got a wonderful bowling attack and the England skipper also appreciated India for exploiting the English conditions very well. Virat Kohli-led India defeated England in the previous Test at Lord’s, bagging a victory by a huge margin of 151 runs. With the victory, India also took a 1-0 lead in the series after the end of two games.

The credit for India’s victory largely goes to Indian pacers. With just a little more than two sessions left on Day 5 of the Test, Indian pacers Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Ishant Sharma, and Jasprit Bumrah managed to crush England for just 120 against a target of 272.

Earlier, Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah also made an essential partnership of 89 runs, which emerged very crucial for India to set up a big total.
