Liverpool's players celebrated the end of the season by revealing their football lookalikes. As in every walk of life, there is nothing better than drawing similarities between two people.

This time, several members of the Reds squad took part in the latest social media trend where they were asked which footballers they resemble. And some of the responses are quite hilarious.

In a video posted by YouTuber John Nellis, the likes of Kostas Tsimikas, Luis Díaz, Wataru Endō, Ibrahima Konaté and Curtis Jones all took part in the video and explained who their doppelgangers are.

Tsimikas felt he looked like a cross between Darwin Núñez and Argentine forward Ángel Di María, possessing the former's hair and the latter's face. The Greek defender was correct on the hair at least! Next up was Endō, who believed he resembled Tottenham's South Korean striker Son Heung-Min.

Díaz then followed and the Colombian winger believed he looks like former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar, which unsurprisingly drew a 3/10 rating from the YouTuber. Despite being from South America and being slightly similar players, Díaz and Neymar share very little in terms of looks.

French defender Konaté stated that when he was younger, people referred to him as former Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo. The resemblance got an 8/10 and was comfortably one of the better scores.

Liverpool midfielder Jones admitted he was struggling to come up with a lookalike. In the end, he settled for Tottenham winger Brennan Johnson, although that was pretty much only based on their haircuts.

The last player in the video is youngster James McConnell, who believes he looks like current Reds' teammate Conor Bradley, getting a 10/10 response. The pair do have an uncanny resemblance, it must be said!

Liverpool.com says: Liverpool's players were great sports as they took part in the social media trend in the new kit for next season. Some of the answers from the players were hilarious mind you, with Díaz's arguably the worst pick of the bunch!
