Christian Pulisic’s dad has confirmed that his son wants to play Premier League football after being linked with moves to Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool.

Mark Pulisic said there is a, ‘high probability,’ that the Borussia Dortmund teenager will one day make the move to England.

The 19-year-old forward impressed this summer as he scored twice for Dortmund and set up a third as his side beat Liverpool 3-1 in the International Champions Cup in America.

Former Dortmund and current Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is said to be an admirer of the player, and the American player could one day link up with him at Anfield.

Mark Pulisic said: ‘The Premier League is a league where he’s always aspired to be in and play in.

‘As a player nowadays, there are so few players staying at one club throughout a career, the chances of him moving to different clubs and leagues is a high probability.’

The German side are asking around £60m for his signature and are not keen to let him go and have already rebuffed two offers from Liverpool.

Pulisic refused to rule out a move in the near future:

‘Football is crazy. You have to go with the flow and make sure the player feels comfortable, whatever the decision is. There’s no magic formula.

‘Is it right to stay at Dortmund? Who knows. Is it right to move to another club? He might think it is, or someone else might think it is, but it might not be in the player’s mind.’
