Nick Diaz is Willing to Fight Tyron Woodley at UFC 202… For a Price
If new UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley wants a fight with Nick Diaz, he's ready to dance. Diaz is even willing to fulfill Woodley's request to fight alongside his brother at UFC 202 on Aug. 20. Nate Diaz meets Conor McGregor in the UFC 202 main event in Las Vegas.
After Woodley defeated Robbie Lawler to capture the belt on Saturday night, he deflected No. 1 contender Stephen Thompson's attempt to line up a fight at UFC 205 in New York, saying he'd rather go where the money is. And in Woodley's opinion, the money lies in a fight with Diaz.
“I think Nick Diaz comes off of suspension in two days. He’s a money fight,” Woodley said. “I’ve been here for a while. I want to make the big doe. So if he wants to fight in August with his brother, Nate Diaz, I think me and him can showdown at the event. I’m uninjured. I’m ready to go. UFC 202, let’s make the money.”

Diaz was under an 18-month suspension after testing positive to marijuana in relation to his UFC 183 headlining bout with Anderson Silva. That suspension is now over, and Diaz, when contacted by TMZ Sports on Monday, said that he's down to fight Woodley… if the price is right.
“I don't owe nobody nothing,” Diaz said about all the people dropping his name, before adding that he would be willing to fight at UFC 202 on such short notice. “If they make me an offer I can't refuse… but I doubt that's gonna happen.”
