Once-in-a-lifetime chance to play alongside Manchester United legends in Taunton

FOOTBALL fans have a chance to play alongside Manchester United legends in a friendly match against Taunton Town.

Taunton Town FC is welcoming bids for the exclusive opportunity that will see a fan become a matchday substitute in the game at Wordsworth Drive on Sunday, May 19, 2024.

The United Legends last visited Taunton in April 2019 in a successful event.

Wes Brown, Lee Martin and David May are touted to take part in the next match.

A club spokesperson said: "Taunton Town FC are offering an exclusive opportunity to be a Man Utd match day substitute for Manchester United Legends vs Taunton Town FC.

"The successful bidder will have the privilege of being in the squad and one of Man Utd’s match-day substitutes and will be guaranteed a minimum of 20 minutes of playing time alongside these legendary footballers."

Bidding starts at £200.

Interested fans should email their bids, along with their names and contact details, to admin@tauntontown.com before Monday, May 13.

The highest bidder will secure the privileged position. Supports must be over 18 years old to enter.

A 20-minute minimum playing time alongside the football legends is guaranteed for the successful bidder.
