Patrice Evra hilariously hijacks Martin Brundle’s Abu Dhabi GP grid walk to declare ‘I love this game!’
Patrice Evra popped up ahead of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix with his trademark “I love this game!” call-out.
The former Manchester United star echoed the thoughts of many fans who were tuning in for the fascinating title decider between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton.
Before the race, Sky F1 pundit Martin Brundle undertook his final grid walk of the season and spoke to the likes of Stormzy, Chris Gayle and Usain Bolt - all of whom were backing Hamilton.
While talking to rapper Stormzy, Evra jumped in to declare: “And he loves this game! I don’t care!”
Stormzy joked that the Frenchman was a “legend” as he ran away, chuckling.

Verstappen started on pole for the race with Red Bull boss Christian Horner discussing his emotions with Brundle before lights out.
“We’re pumped up for this race,” Horner said.
“The team has done an outstanding job and Max has been mighty all year. Checo is going to go for it, he did a great job yesterday and all year, we are not giving up.”
