Police appeal for witnesses after two teenage women die in car crash

Two women aged 18 and 19 have been killed in a two-car collision in Lincolnshire.

Lincolnshire Police said the crash occurred on the A158 in Hagworthingham, Spilsby, between a black Peugeot and a black Volvo just before 7pm on Friday.

The women, who have not been named, were treated for their injuries after the accident but have died, the force said.

Emergency services attended the scene and the road was closed until the early hours of Saturday.

Police have issued an appeal for anyone who saw the collision or has dash cam footage to contact them.
