The app is notoriously bad at helping you save your favorite videos because it rapidly auto-plays so much content. Just accidentally refreshing your feed can make something you just saw vanish before your eyes. A “Watch History” feature would be a game-changer for the user experience.

People have begun to notice the feature being rolled out recently.

“TikTok is testing adding a ‘Watch History’ feature in the app,” @hammodoh1 said, sharing a screenshot of the tool.

“TikTok added a ‘Watch History’ feature!” @strgzingjin said after it appeared in her app.

It looks like the feature is available under “Settings” and then “Content and Activity.” So far, TikTok hasn’t officially announced the new feature and it isn’t widely available.

“We’re always thinking about new ways to bring value to our community and enrich the TikTok experience,” a TikTok spokesperson told TechCrunch when asked about the rollout.
