Todd Cantwell on Callum McGregor scuffle as Rangers star claims he wants to win MORE than Celtic captain

Todd Cantwell insists he wants to win for Rangers MORE than Callum McGregor does for Celtic.

The pair clashed at the end of the last Old Firm match with the Gers midfielder shoving the Hoops captain and sparking an on-pitch melee after the 3-3 draw. After featuring in a few derbies, the Englishman insists he's getting to grips with the fixture now and says the scuffle was just part of the rivalry.

Cantwell told Sky Sports: "Yeah. There's a rivalry there, right? So there's things said on the pitch and off the pitch which as a player you respect.

"I want to win just as much as he (McGregor) does. Probably a little bit more, to be honest, because he's been up here a long time.

"It's a rivalry, a competition. Both teams want to win, both teams need to win. For me, it stops there. That's all it is."
