Seamus Coleman (Everton) – £16

Fixture: West Brom (Home)

Fantasy managers have reaped the rewards of Coleman’s excellent form for Everton in 2017. In his last seven league matches, he has registered four assists as well as getting on the scoresheet against Crystal Palace – form you would expect from a midfielder! In the same period, the Toffees have kept four clean sheets, adding to the Irishman’s appeal as a fantasy option.

West Brom have reached the desired 40 points which ensures another year of top-flight football at the Hawthorns. Teams often go into ‘holiday’ mode when they hit 40 points with little left to play for other than league position and the financial reward that comes with that. Tony Pulis has mentioned that some of his players are ‘tired’ after last week’s defeat to Crystal Palace which suggests he will rest some of his first-teamers for this fixture. Matt Phillips has also been ruled out through injury which increases Everton’s chances of another clean sheet.

Alfie Mawson (Swansea) – £14

Fixture: Hull City (Away)

Centre-half Mawson has been a revelation this season, scoring three goals for the Swans, more than Wayne Rooney and Daniel Sturridge have managed! He reminds me of John Terry the way he attacks the ball from corners and set pieces. Last weekend against Burnley, he somehow hit the woodwork twice in a matter of seconds which again highlighted his goal threat.

The Englishman boasts a good goal-scoring record from his time at Barnsley, where he netted 9 times in 48 appearances which suggests his form this season is not a flash in the pan. At £14, Mawson is great value in this fixture and he’ll be confident of more attacking returns as well as a clean sheet.

Manuel Lanzini (West Ham) – £17

Fixture: Bournemouth (Away)

Lanzini has upped his game in recent weeks to fill the void left by Dimitri Payet. Playing in the no.10 role, he’s central to the Hammers’ attacking play. He’s a very creative player but also knows where the goal is. In his last three matches, he’s got two goals and an assist. He also shares set piece responsibilities with Robert Snodgrass which is always a bonus for fantasy managers.

West Ham face a Bournemouth side who have been on the slide in recent weeks and if they’re not careful, could find themselves in a relegation scrap. It’s difficult to see the Cherries keeping West Ham out with Tyrone Mings suspended and Simon Francis struggling to recover from injury. Rookie Baily Cargill could start at centre half which bodes well for the Lanzini’s prospects.

Philippe Coutinho (Liverpool) – £26

Fixture: Burnley (Home)

Looking at the Liverpool options for this fixture, it’s hard to look past the trio of Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane. With many big-hitters not in Premier League action due to FA Cup commitments, budget restraints shouldn’t be a problem when choosing your Yahoo Daily Fantasy team this weekend. It would take a brave fantasy manager not to include at least one of these three in your squad.

Coutinho is due a big performance. Mane was the hero against Tottenham scoring a brace, while Firmino bagged a goal and an assist versus Arsenal (as did Mane). Coutinho has had 20 shots on goal in the last 4 matches scoring with just one. I feel it could be his turn to shine against Burnley on Sunday. The Clarets have a woeful away record this season and if the Reds turn up like they have done recently against the bigger sides, they could easily put five past Tom Heaton (if he has recovered from illness).
