Cristiano Ronaldo finally met his new Juventus team mates as the hard work began ahead of the Serie A campaign.

All the World Cup stars returned from their short break and underwent medicals. They were strapped to the latest technology and put through their paces on treadmills.

Ronaldo, 33, looked happy and relaxed in his new surroundings as Juve bid for an eighth successive league title.

He is Real Madrid’s all-time goalscorer with 450 goals from 438 appearances and also tops the charts for his country with 85 goals from 154 matches.
