Thomas Frank is “dreaming of more” at Brentford after securing their fourth consecutive season of Premier League football.

The Bees boss has previously spoken of this season being the most challenging of his career to date, with his team involved in a relegation battle to a far greater degree than they have been since winning promotion in 2021 amid an unrelenting injury crisis.

Still, taking ten points in their final games meant Brentford retained their top-flight status rather comfortably in the end, finishing 13 points ahead of 18th-placed Luton.

Frank has been linked with a move to Manchester United but again reiterated his desire to continue in west London.

Speaking after Sunday’s 4-2 defeat at home to Newcastle, Frank said: “Overall, this season has been a success. We are ambitious, we want more and we are dreaming of more, but the foundation we are standing on is good. I am excited about the future.”

Striker Neal Maupay will return to parent club Everton this summer and bid an emotional farewell to Brentford supporters upon the culmination of his second spell with the club.

“I really appreciate and I've been very lucky to receive the support and the love they’ve given me, so thank you very much, it's been great," he said.

“It's been a hell of a journey, but I think every good thing comes to an end and today is the end of my Brentford chapter.

“But I have memories for life.”
