West Ham currently sit in 17th place, only two points above the relegation zone. There are still two weeks until we next play, but how will we fare over our next three games?

Southampton (H)

This will be our first home game since the shocking scenes that we saw in the game against Burnley. It is highly unlikely that we will see the same problems in this game, given the controversy that surrounded our last home game. At least we hope so.

Southampton are struggling this season and this is a game that we simply have to win. They are below us in the Premier League table and they have only won one game from their last five. Southampton’s last game saw them lose 3-0 to Newcastle, though our home form has been disastrous as of late. My prediction? 1-1.

Chelsea (A)

There is no better time to face Chelsea than during this period. They have been poor all season and they are showing little signs of improvement. With only two wins from their last five, there is no reason why we cannot have some hope going into this game.

We beat Chelsea 1-0 when we faced them in December and Moyes should revert to his usual big-game tactics. Yes, Chelsea are vulnerable at the back, but attacking them on the counter appears to be our best option. We have been leaking goals, but with Chelsea failing to find their number one striker, they are not as dangerous as they were in December. My prediction? A 2-0 loss.

Stoke (H)

We beat Stoke with ease when we faced them in December and this was the point where we thought our fortunes had changed. Like Southampton, Stoke are currently in the relegation zone and this is another ‘six-point’ fixture.

Marko Arnautovic will certainly be fired up, given the negative reception he received in December and we need him back on form. He has only scored once in our past five games and we lack any real goal-threat elsewhere in the team. My prediction? A 1-0 win.
