Meka’s team was built around consistent scorers but crucially, unlike Yahoo’s team on Saturday, he had two star players in West Ham’s Andy Carroll and Everton’s Seamus Coleman. Coleman made it into the Yahoo Gameweek 22 Dreamteam, while Carroll just missed out – he was the fourth-highest overall scorer in the Gameweek but only 3 forwards can make it into the team.

Our second best performer from Gameweek 22 was ‘Decision5’, whose entry was in Yahoo’s no risk ‘PL £1 Learn to Play’ league.

Decision5’s £1 entry into the league won him £15 with this team which scored a 94.6 points – a great return for what was a three-team Sunday.

Like Meka’s team for Saturday, Decision5’s team had the same Dreamteam defender in Seamus Coleman, but his success was largely underpinned by a trio of West Brom players. The affordable combination of goalkeeper Ben Foster and wingers Matt Phillips and Chris Brunt contributed more than a third of Decision5’s points haul, which helped offset the disappointing returns of popular selections Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Romelu Lukaku.
