Liverpool no.1 Alisson was once again in action during Brazil's 4-1 Copa America win over Paraguay.

The victory saw Brazil climb up to second place in Group D after the goalless draw with Costa Rica in the opening game. Vinicius Junior x2, Savio and Lucas Paqueta were on the scoresheet for Dorival Junior's side.

Omar Alderete netted Paraguay's consolation goal before Andres Cubas was sent off with 10 minutes from time. Speaking after the game, the Brazilian boss, Junior said: "We didn't have ball possession in the previous game but this time, it was a much better performance. We created difficulties for the opposition despite Julio Enciso's threats at our end.

"I think everyone is well prepared and I'm sure we will have another problem but these players play at the highest level and need to be encouraged. They honour the shirt and deserve praise as I see a committed group whom I have a lot of confidence in."

With that said, the Echo has taken a look at how the Brazilian media outlets have rated Alisson's performance.

Globo Esporte

In its player ratings, Globo Esporte wrote: "He worked harder than he did against Costa Rica. His main save came in the 14th minute following a deflected shot by [Raul] Bobadilla. He didn't make a mistake for Paraguay's goal but as a goalkeeper of his level, you would expect him to save it. He later made a brilliant effort to deny [Julio] Enciso and a string of saves throughout."

Rating: 6.5

Terra

In its player ratings, Terra wrote: "Alisson made two great saves and stopped Paraguay from scoring the opening goal. He also denied Paraguay's chance to halve the deficit in the second half."

Rating: 7.5

Correio Braziliense
