West Ham face Arsenal on Sunday in what is our last London derby of the season. We drew against Arsenal when we last faced them in December. Here are three things to look out for…

A different Arsenal?

Arsenal have had a terrible season. But it was announced today that Arsene Wenger will be leaving the club at the end of the season, after 22 years in charge. And we may face a different Arsenal side to the one that we faced in December.

The Emirates Stadium has not been full in recent weeks but the fans are sure to give Wenger a great send off, starting this Sunday. The players will want Wenger to leave in style and they will perform at a higher level. Can we get something out of this game? I would have been more sure yesterday, but now, it’s difficult to see us getting a point.

Joe Hart dropped?

Joe Hart had a nightmare performance against Stoke City on Monday night. His chances of going to the World Cup as England’s number one goalkeeper is decreasing game by game. It was his mistake which saw Peter Crouch score the opener but should he be dropped?

Adrian has not started for us since the start of March, where we lost 4-1 to Swansea. Now he did concede 11 goals in 4 games but that was not entirely down to him. The team was performing poorly and he was punished as a consequence. Adrian has performed better than Hart this season and he has to come back into the team now.

Andy Carroll’s role

We saw Andy Carroll play for the first time since January against Stoke, and he ended up scoring a great equalising goal. Carroll will have a big role to play in these remaining games. It is unlikely that he will start but we have lacked a different option from the bench who can change games. Carroll provides that option and it is great to have him back.
