When is the 2024 MLB draft? Full schedule, first round order
Major League Baseball's 2024 draft gets underway Sunday in Fort Worth, Texas, two days before the annual All-Star Game.
The Cleveland Guardians have the first overall pick after winning the draft lottery (now in its second year), and the current AL Central leaders have a bevy of top prospects they can choose, with Oregon State second baseman Travis Bazzana the favorite to go No. 1.
After the initial rounds on Sunday, the draft resumes Monday with Rounds 3-10 and Rounds 11-20 on Tuesday.
