The Scottish Premiership takes centre stage tomorrow night when second-placed Aberdeen take on leaders Celtic- and perhaps fittingly, the game has been given top billing by Sky Sports.

With all six of Wednesday night's fixtures in the English Premier League exclusively being shown on Amazon Prime Video, the only other matches available to the broadcasting giants come from EFL League One, meaning the top of the table clash at Pittodrie will have the VIP treatment rolled out for fans of Scottish football.

Not only is the game being broadcast on both Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football, but it will also be available to watch on Sky Sports Ultra high-definition channel - which is usually reserved for the big clashes in the world's most-watched league south of the border. Kick-off in the Granite City doesn't get underway until 8pm, but the VIP spot means that punters will get 45 minutes of televised build-up ahead of the game, as Jimmy Thelin's men look to close the gap on the Hoops and make it 15 wins from 15 games in front of their own fans this season.

A loss and two draws in their last three league games has seen the Dons fall four points behind Brendan Rodgers' team, having also played a game more. The league champions on the other hand are in rampant form, and hit five past Ross County last weekend to take their goal tally to 10 in the last three games in all competitions.

Boss Rodgers has only lost once to Aberdeen across his two tenures at Parkhead, which came way back on the final day of the 2017/18 season as the visitors spoiled their title party. Celtic haven't tasted defeat at Pittodrie since Simon Church headed home a winner for the Reds in February 2016.

And although they know they'll need to quieten down a hostile home crowd, will believe they can replicate the kind of display that saw them put Aberdeen to the sword in the semi-final of the Premier Sports Cup at Hampden last month with a resounding 6-0 victory. The scene is set for an electric night of action in the North-East.
