Adam Idah has dropped the biggest hint yet he'd like to stay at Celtic beyond the summer.

The Irish striker is approaching the end of his six-month loan from Norwich City and could head back to Carrow Road with two winners' medals. Idah has popped up with some crucial goals for the Hoops on their way to the championship, including match-winning moments at Hibs and Motherwell.

He netted his eighth goal for the club in last night's title-clinching demolition of Kilmarnock at Rugby Park and the 23-year-old was in the thick of the party as the champions celebrated with fans in the away end. Supporters are already clamouring for Celtic to sign Idah on a permanent deal and it's understood the Canaries would listen to offers upwards of £6million.

Rodgers will have a significant transfer kitty this summer after securing Champions League football and talks will be held over Idah's future in the coming weeks, with a decision likely to be made after the Scottish Cup Final.

Idah has been tight-lipped about where he sees his future but the big frontman has made it clear he's loving life in Glasgow. Speaking to Celtic TV last night, he said: "Unbelievable. I had a tough start to the season, my confidence was low and ever since I arrived I've been so welcomed in. I hope I repaid that to the fans and to the players and look, I'm over the moon to be here.

"The crowd are unbelievable. What the boys have done tonight has been amazing. Not just tonight, but the whole season. There's been so many ups and downs, so it's fantastic to enjoy it with everyone."

Idah also paid tribute to Rodgers for putting his faith in him after a difficult first-half of the season with Norwich. Idah said: "He's been unbelievable. He's been in these situations so many times. Like we said before, we enjoy the pressure and when the times get tough we're the ones who get going."
