The 21-year-old, who also spent four years with Scottish Premiership side Dundee United, is a welcomed addition with the Diamonds struggling with a host of injuries to key players, and he goes straight into the squad for the Lanarkshire derby at New Broomfield.
A club statement read: "We are pleased to announce the signing of former Dundee United and Inverness CT defender Flynn Duffy.

"Flynn joins after being released by Inverness CT’s administrators, with registration outwith the transfer window being possible due to the circumstances.
"The 21-year-old spent four years at Tannadice before making the moving north, with four Dundee United appearances to his name alongside loan spells at Peterhead and Stirling Albion.
"Flynn goes straight into the matchday squad for today’s William Hill Championship fixture against Hamilton Academical, and we’ll catch up with the new signing after the match. Welcome to the Diamonds, Flynn!"
Flynn has also had loan spells in the lower leagues of the SPFL at clubs including Stirling Albion and Dumbarton.
