Alejandro Garnacho makes four-word Manchester United promise Ruben Amorim will love
Alejandro Garnacho has called on Manchester United to use Wednesday night's League Cup win over Leicester City as a platform to build from as they prepare for a new era at Old Trafford after the sacking of Erik ten Hag.
The Dutchman was dismissed by Ineos on Monday afternoon as a result of United languishing in 14th place in the Premier League table with just three wins from the opening nine games.
Interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy oversaw Wednesday's 5-2 with over the Foxes as United finalise the appointment of Sporting CP manager Ruben Amorim, with Garnacho adding to braces from Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes to seal an emphatic victory at Old Trafford.

Writing on Instagram after the game, United's No.17 called for the Reds to use the cup win as a platform to move to build on: "We build from this," he told his 11.6 million followers.
The 20-year-old, who has now notched 10 goal contributions from 15 outings across all competitions this term, is set for a big future at Old Trafford under Amorim.
The Manchester Evening News revealed on Wednesday that United had agreed a fee to appoint Amorim and the club are now working on a deal to bring his Sporting first-team coaches to Old Trafford.
Carlos Fernandes, 29, and Adelio Candido, 28, followed Amorim from Barga to Sporting in 2020 and they have been crucial in his success at the Jose Alvalade Stadium.
