Determined Kieran Tierney is primed and ready to help save Arsenal's season as he is available to star in three competitions for the out of luck Gunners.

The Scotland international is closing in on a return to full training with the club he appeared destined to leave but it now appears he will earn another shot at saving his career in North London. Tierney is registered to play in the Premier League and Champions League and appears a prime candidate for EFL Cup duty in December against Crystal Palace.

Speaking last week, Mikel Arteta said: "I think he’s quite close, he looks good, really sharp. He hasn’t trained with the team yet, hopefully he can do that in the next week or two." And that is music to ears of Arsenal fans who fear they have lost a spark from their full-backs since Arteta deployed four central defenders across his backline. Tierney's swashbuckling style was a rare high point for fans during the early years of the Spaniard's reign.
