Arsenal star Bukayo Saka sends perfect four-word Thierry Henry message after Liverpool celebration
Arsenal's star winger Bukayo Saka played down comparisons to legendary striker Thierry Henry after he broke the Frenchman's record for the club.
Saka opened the scoring for the Gunners inside ten minutes when he latched onto a long ball by Ben White. The winger expertly cut inside Andy Robertson before lashing his effort into the back of the net.
With that strike, Saka became the youngest player to reach 50 Premier League goals for the Gunners. The Englishman is just 23-years and 52 days old at the time of reaching the milestone while the previous record holder Henry was merely 24 years and 128 days old.
In his post-match interview, Saka felt disappointed that his team were not able to hold onto their lead to beat Liverpool. When asked about his celebration perhaps being similar to Henry, the forward shrugged his shoulders calmly in front of the home supporters, the 23-year-old dismissed that notion in perfect fashion.
He told Sky Sports: "Everything is Thierry Henry-ish. If you score it is Thierry Henry, assist it is Thierry Henry..."
Reflecting on the record, Saka added: "He has every record, Thierry Henry, so it is nice but of course you want to win the game. But yeah it is good."
