Arsenal are reportedly preparing for a summer clear-out, with seven players transfer listed and three more exits already confirmed. According to the Mirror, the Gunners are open to offers for Aaron Ramsdale, Eddie Nketiah, Emile Smith Rowe, Kieran Tierney, Nuno Tavares, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Reiss Nelson as Mikel Arteta looks to bolster his squad depth.

Cedric Soares, Mohamed Elneny and Arthur Okonkwo are also set to leave the Emirates Stadium when their contracts expire at the end of June. Arsenal are expected to back their manager with another substantial transfer budget this summer, which could be further boosted by several high-profile departures.

Hale End academy graduates Nketiah, Smith Rowe and Nelson would all represent 100 per cent profit against the Premier League's profit and sustainability rules (PSRs), helping the title challengers maintain their financial records ahead of another potential spending spree.

All three have attracted interest from other Premier League clubs, claim the Mirror, while Nelson has also garnered attention abroad following successful loan spells in the Bundesliga and Eredivisie with Hoffenheim and Feyenoord, respectively.

Despite high hopes for Smith Rowe, the midfielder has struggled to reach his full potential since Arsenal rejected two bids from Aston Villa in the summer of 2021. Now, it seems, could be the right time for both parties to part ways.

Ramsdale, the out-of-favour goalkeeper, has been linked with a move to Newcastle and Chelsea. The England international could generate the Gunners significant profit following his £24m transfer from Sheffield United nearly three years ago.

The Mirror state that Arsenal will also review the future of Thomas Partey, who has just one-year remaining on his contract. The Ghanaian midfielder has recently returned to full fitness and has shown his quality, making a summer sale less likely.

Meanwhile, Jorginho is set to stay after recently penning a new contract extension on Thursday. Gabriel Jesus is also expected to stay at the club unless there's a dramatic turn of events. Despite his ongoing knee issues, he remains a valuable asset to Arteta.

There's hope that he'll return to his best form next season if his knee problem is addressed this summer, potentially through surgery. Most of the players facing uncertain futures are homegrown and would need to be replaced if sold.

However, it's highly unlikely that all will leave at once as Arsenal doesn't believe the squad needs a major overhaul. Ethan Nwaneri could be heading out on his first loan spell next season, while the club is also keen to retain the services of 16-year-old goal-scoring sensation Chido Obi Martin.
