Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has selected his starting XI to face Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup fourth round clash at Villa Park this evening.

Emery has made 10 changes from the side which drew 1-1 against Bournemouth last time out as Tyrone Mings and Boubacar Kamara both make their first starts since suffering ACL injuries.

From back to front, Joe Gauci starts in goal behind a defence made up of Kosta Nedeljkovic, Diego Carlos, Mings and Ian Maatsen. Kamara operates alongside John McGinn in midfield, while Leon Bailey plays from the right and Jaden Philogene on the left as Emi Buendia supports Jhon Duran up front.

Villa defeated Wycombe Wanderers 2-1 at Adams Park last month to book their place in this round, while Crystal Palace beat Queens Park Rangers 3-1 at Loftus Road. Oliver Glasner's men also beat Norwich City in the second round.

Before they entertained Tottenham Hotspur at Selhurst Park last weekend, those two wins in the Carabao Cup were their only victories of the season. Spurs - who will play at home against Villa in the Premier League this Saturday - lost 1-0 to Palace on Sunday as the Eagles finally ended their long wait for three points.

Subs: Zych, Cash, Patterson, Bogarde, Swinkels, Borland, Ramsey, Young, Jimoh-Aloba.

Crystal Palace starting XI: Turner, Munoz, Chalobah, Lacroix, Guehi, Mitchell, Hughes, Wharton, Eze, Nketiah, Mateta.

Subs: Henderson, Sarr, Schlupp, Clyne, Kamada, Umeh, Devenny, Kporha, Agbinone.
