Barry Ferguson insists there's no chance Rangers' outgoing stars will be distracted with a Treble at stake.

Trabzonspor-bound Borna Barisic could lead a mass exodus at Ibrox this summer as Philippe Clement prepares to clear the decks and put his own stamp on the squad. John Lundstram, James Tavernier and Connor Goldson have also been linked with exits but Fergie has no concerns that their heads could be somewhere else.

The former captain knows what it's like to leave Ibrox - not once, but twice - and believes if this is the last dance for some, they'll be determined to leave as Treble-winning legends.

He told the Daily Record: "If you're going to leave Rangers - and it does happen to us all one day - you want to go out with a bit of style. You want to make sure you give your supporters something to celebrate. You want to do it for the team-mates you've been working with so long, day in day out on the training ground, going through so many highs and lows together.

"And most importantly, you have to want to do it for yourself because there's nothing wrong with being a little bit selfish at defining moments like these. What better way to go out than with another two trophies and a couple of medals around your neck? If you've any self respect, you can't allow yourself to go out with a whimper.

"Because the last thing any of them should want to do is wish they had done it differently or given that little bit more. They have to be able to look in the mirror when it's all over and know they left every last ounce in that jersey. Don't leave a place like this with regrets, leave it with memories. That has to be the mindset for the next three weeks or so.

"So I look at the speculation around mainstays like Borna Barisic, John Lundstram, James Tavernier, Connor Goldson and even big Jack Butland and I honestly don't think for a single second these guys will be focused on anything else.

"Obviously there are a few others who are probably going to be on the way out too. But if anything that should bind them all even more tightly together for what's left of the current campaign. Did you see, for example, the way Barisic celebrated the winner from Cyriel Dessers at St Mirren at the weekend? He was nearly half way up the stairs of the stand with the ultras in the away end!

"Did that look like a man whose heart is no longer in it? He already has his next deal all but tied up with Trabzonspor but the joy was written all over his face. So don't tell me that it doesn't matter any more to these guys. Of course it matters. And if this is the end for some, it will never have mattered more."
