Blackburn Rovers taking inspiration from Ipswich Town to fuel belief
Joe Rankin-Costello believes Ipswich Town's surprise promotion last season has helped the belief that any team can earn promotion from the Championship.
Blackburn Rovers have been a surprise package this term and sit fifth in the table after 19 games, having played a game fewer. That is far better than what many expected before a ball was kicked.
The Tractor Boys earned an unlikely automatic promotion last term having continued their momentum from League One. They were the first club in over a decade to earn back-to-back promotions through to the Premier League.
"There's a bug buzz at the moment. Ipswich did it last year where they kept winning games," Rankin-Costello told RoversTV.

"Everyone looked at that and saw that anyone is capable of doing that and going up really. The boys are confident and when you come into a team that is confident, it makes it a lot easier coming in.
"I found out this morning that Cal was in and because it was a night game, it gave me more time to prepare. If it was a 3pm one, it can be hard to get your head around it. I was buzzing to come in and did ok.
"We have a good home record so Ewood is a tough place to go for anyone right now. Hopefully, we can get the three points."
