Blues on loan: Baggott close to return, Valentine injured and some FA Cup action
A look at how Ipswich Town players got on for their loan clubs this weekend...
ELKAN BAGGOTT
The defender is close to a return for Blackpool, having recovered from an ankle injury he suffered in training at the end of August.
Baggott has only managed three appearances for the Seasiders since his loan move but could feature for Steve Bruce's side when they face Liverpool U21s in the EFL Trophy at Bloomfield Road on Wednesday night.
They progressed to the second round of the FA Cup after winning 2-0 at Gillingham.
GEORGE EDMUNDSON
The defender featured and was booked for Middlesbrough as they were beaten 3-0 at home by Coventry City in the Championship.
Edmundson played the full 90 minutes for Michael Carrick's side, who played most of the game with ten men after Hayden Hackney was shown two yellow cards.
Boro return to action when they travel to QPR on Tuesday.
MARCUS HARNESS
The attacker featured and was booked for Derby County as they lost 2-1 at Stoke City in the second tier.
Harness started and played 64 minutes for Paul Warne's side, who are on a bad run of form, having won just once in the last nine league games.
The Rams will look to get back to winning ways when they travel to Coventry on Wednesday.
CAMERON HUMPHREYS
The midfielder featured for Wycombe Wanderers as they beat National League side York City 3-2 at home in the first round of the FA Cup.
Humphreys came on as a 54th minute sub for Matt Bloomfield's side, who secured their place in round two.
The Chairboys return to league action when they travel to Stockport County on Tuesday.
NICO VALENTINE
The youngster was not involved for Needham Market as they drew 1-1 with Spennymoor Town in the National League North.
Valentine is set to be a long-term absentee for Kevin Horlock's side after suffering a hamstring injury last weekend.
The Marketmen return to action when they travel to Rushall Olympic on Tuesday.
FINLEY BARBROOK
Barbrook featured for Sutton United as they were beaten 1-0 at home by Birmingham City in the first round of the FA Cup.
Barbrook played the full 90 minutes and was booked for Steve Morison's side, who battled well against higher opposition.
The U's switch their focus back to league action when they travel to Rochdale on Saturday.
OSMAN FOYO AND WOODY WILLIAMSON
The duo featured for Chelmsford City as they drew 2-2 with Torquay United at Plainmoor in the National League South.
Williamson made a magnificent double save for Robbie Simpson's side, who came from two goals down to secure a point in Devon.
The Clarets return to action when they travel to St Albans City on Tuesday.
CHARLIE BINNS
The young goalkeeper featured for Bishop's Stortford as they were beaten 4-1 at AFC Telford United in the Southern League Premier Central.
Binns was making his return to action after serving a three game suspension for Steve Castle's side, who suffered their fifth straight defeat.
The Blues will look to bounce back when they host Banbury United next weekend.
