Borussia Dortmund target Bellingham bid as Sunderland star could follow in Jude's footsteps
Jobe Bellingham is attracting interest from Borussia Dortmund who could swoop for the midfielder in January. Eighteen months after selling his older brother Jude to Real Madrid, the German outfit are ready to do business, according to pundit Alan Nixon via his Patreon account.
Sunderland have had to go without Bellingham for their last two matches as he’s in the midst of serving a three-match suspension. Slipping up against Preston North End and Coventry City, both draws, demonstrates just how important Bellingham is to Sunderland.
A step up in level to the Bundesliga is one Dortmund feel Bellingham is capable of. For the Black Cats to allow Bellingham to move, though, it would mean the Germans having to fork out at least £20m. And they will be reluctant to lose any of their stars as they bid to return to the Premier League for the first time since the 2017/18 season.

Chris Rigg is already the subject of speculation about his future with bigger clubs sniffing while there are others too who are bound to attract interest given how well they have done so far this season in the Championship.
Meanwhile, according to Grosvenor Sport’s Supercomputer, Burnley will win the Championship with Leeds as runners-up. Sunderland, West Brom, Sheffield United and Millwall will make the play-off spots, but Portsmouth, QPR and Plymouth Argyle will be relegated.
Boffins at Grosvenor Sport has run the Championship Supercomputer to determine who is likely to finish where based on a probability model based on a team’s current strength (based on factors such as league position and form) and betting market odds. A simulation is then run 1,000 times to predict the outcome of every fixture, with a league table then constructed as a result with as few anomalies as possible to ensure accuracy.
